What is Mountain Muesli?
Muesli (MYOO-slee) is a whole grain cereal that has been a popular breakfast tradition in Europe for more than a century. We’ve updated traditional Swiss muesli with the latest in nutrition science, adding ground flax seed, coconut sugar and coconut oil for a big boost of protein, vitamins, minerals and omega-3 fatty acids. It has the perfect balance of protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats to give you high energy the natural way. We make cereals that are great any time of the day and snack bites to give you energy at work or play.
What makes it special?
The philosophy behind Mountain Muesli products is simple: we think people should eat real food that’s as close to the earth as possible. We use nothing but wholesome, all natural, non-GMO ingredients without any additives or preservatives. We want to know where our ingredients come from so we look for local, organic suppliers. Mountain Muesli cereal and snack bites are lower in fat and higher in protein and fiber than many of the granolas and energy bars on the market WITHOUT the use of fortifying ingredients.
Mountain Muesli is also special for what’s NOT in it. Many of our friends and family have food sensitivities or allergies, so all our products are gluten free, and contain no soy, dairy, corn, or peanuts. We don’t use any refined sugar, only natural sweeteners like honey.
